Alan Lovett - Performer
Alan is an experienced professional who has delighted audiences on three continents. Demand for his idiosyncratic poetry presentation style has taken him to Canada, USA and the UK. As an actor/playwright, he has received five star reviews for his performances in Fringe theatre. Alan is in annual demand for appearances in Australia, Japan and Hong Kong as Santa Claus. His intelligent, funny approach to the role has made many of his clients declare him, 'The real Santa!' Alan was the official City of Melbourne Santa Claus for thirteen years in the 1980s and 1990s. Alan's corporate characters are popular in corporate Melbourne. He has been master of ceremonies and compère at local and overseas events as well as being in constant demand for hosting trivia events in Victoria. |

Corporate characters Well prepared with background information, the character drops in to the meeting, seminar or other event, chatting to individuals about them and their achievements. In his witty and entertaining fashion, he makes every member of the group feel recognised and appreciated and often gives each person an appropriate gift. A favourite is Bruce Bushby, down from the bush for the day but Alan is a versatile performer who can take on a number of other persona - an ANZ manager's seminar was delighted with the disgruntled branch manager who suddenly stood up to complain about things. |
|
Alan's visits are ideal for showing appreciation to a team or work group for their work, to reward them for their contribution to a project or to lighten the intensity of a serious executive meeting. A visit is also an excellent means of giving a new dimension to a get together with clients. Funny and edgy comedy that entertains but doesn't offend. Only available for groups of up to ten people. |
